Why Care Fertility

Since 2008 we have assisted in the conception of hundreds of babies and are justifiably proud of what we do.

  • 25 July 2008
    The thirtieth anniversary of the first IVF birth, Louise Brown, Care Fertility opened and was then called Assisted Conception Australia. It achieved RTAC and NATA accreditation within that first year. Commitment to known donor conception.

    First ACA baby born.
  • October 2010
    Voluntary ISO accreditation.
  • May 2011
    Acupuncturists join the clinic as part of a large trial on the role of acupuncture in IVF.
  • August 2014
    Introduction of microscopic testicular sperm extraction (microTESE).
    November 2014
    Trial of time-lapse embryo culture.
  • October 2015
    Rebranding to Care Fertility reflecting the ethos of the clinic.
  • May 2016
    Routine use of time-lapse embryo culture with an algorithm – proven to improve pregnancy rates.
    July 2016
    Opening of IVF4family, the low cost facility of Care Fertility.
    October 2016
    Introduction of IMSI (intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection).
  • November 2016
    Official opening of Care Fertility Toowoomba with Drs Anthony Cerqui and Lanziz Homar.
    December 2016
    Introduction of preimplantation genetic diagnosis.

    First Care Fertility IMSI Birth
