As a community, we are facing an unprecedented challenge with the spread of COVID-19, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). At this time, it is safe to continue fertility treatment and we are continually monitoring the information and protocols from appropriate regulatory bodies to help manage COVID-19 at Care Fertility.
To ensure the best health and safety outcomes for our patients and staff, we have put in place the following measures to reduce the risk of infection.
- Children are not allowed to attend Care Fertility at any time.
- No partners are allowed in the embryo transfer room or during any procedures.
- For egg collection, testicular sperm retrieval, embryo transfer, and other procedures at Care Fertility all patients will be asked to complete a questionnaire prior to attending Care Fertility or Greenslopes Private Hospital.
- Before the commencement of your treatment cycle, you'll be asked to read and sign a consent form about contingency arrangements resulting from COVID-19.
Our doctors also offer telemedicine consultations.
